We were downtown Colombo, Sri Lanka celebrating the launch of my ebook Get In The Loop and just about to go home when the rain came. Rain in Colombo is never a small drizzle, it is more akin to the sky breaking apart and an ocean falling on top of you. No way of getting to the train station without drowning, so we did a long 3-wheeler ride through mad traffic and even madder rain. You get high and somewhat sick from inhaling the car exhaust fumes but it is rather fun to shoot during the ride, also it distracts you from the constant feeling of “we will never survive this!”.
