Pleased to announce that I have been invited to be a part of the KAGE Collective, an international group of photographers focused on visual storytelling and documentary work.
When Patrick Laroque mentioned Kage Collective I must admit I needed a few days to think it over. I am not normally a member of anything, guidelines, rules, laws, regulations of groups not really my thing at all. Lone Wolf time-traveling the universe totally free more my thing. But this sounded right, a great bunch of photographers in a flexible non-exclusive collective sharing the same passion of storytelling – excited to see what we can do with the KAGE collective.
My first story on KAGE is online, The Hopes and Dreams of an Entire Town, but do also check out all the other great stories on there.
KAGE – pronounced Ka-Gei – is Japanese for shadow, something I certainly relate to, but it is also Danish for cake so that’s nice! Must bring cake for our first real-life meetup.
