I’ve been to Mount Rushmore twice now. The first time, I thought “This will either be really cool, or really corny.” Frankly, I was blown away by how cool it was to see, and to learn about the process. (Sculpting with dynamite! Who’d a thunk it?). Then, a few years later, I saw it again on the drive from San Francisco back to New Jersey. My (new) wife and I stopped and I was amazed by it again. Cool U.S. site that many Americans never bother going to, cool backstory. I can’t wait to take my kids.
I had no idea what to expect there but most of it was really cool and impressive. Also learned something, the sculptor Gutzon Borglum was the son of Danish immigrants!

You can still see all their faces, and the avenue of flags! Am i the most considerate photo-bomber ever or what?
The best, most magic, as always 🙂
Oh you kids are having way too much fun! 🙂
No, perfect amount 🙂
