An update of what has been happening over the past couple of weeks. I have had time to do a lot of updating on my website and have started my book project. In the midst of selecting images for my photo books I stumbled upon this image from Papua New Guinea. The boys are standing in the shade of a palm tree so in exposing for the shadows, the sunny ocean and sky is completely blown out leading to a nice effect:
Here is what is either hot off the press or soon to come:
Upcoming photo books
I am very excited about this project. Later this year I will be releasing two photo books, one for landscapes and one for people/travel. The two books will feature images and stories from my past two years of travelling the world, mostly as a nomad. I have begun the process of selecting the images, which is a hard task indeed. I find myself selecting off-beat quirky images with a story to them, these books will not be a straight “greatest hits” selection as I have no interest in publishing that. I also wish to do a book on Copenhagen but that must wait till I have a lot of street photography of Copenhagen to go with my cityscapes. I am aiming for a release of the two books in Q3 of this year and the books will be available to buy online. Stay tuned for more details.
Website and blog updates
All pages on my website and blog has seen updates. The front page, the about page, the video page, the purchase page are all updated. The blog has been updated with a header image and membership info re. VII and IGVP. Soon to come on the galleries page of my site, two ‘portfolio’ galleries allowing you to easily browse a small selection of my best work.
VII Visionaires
I am proud to have been selected as a member of VII Visionaires, the network created by the VII Photo Agency.
IGVP – International Guild of Visual Peacemakers
I have been a member of IGVP for a while, but only recently managed to finally update my profile and do the interview and upload a portfolio. I still wish to upload a few stories. Devoted to peacemaking and breaking down stereotypes by displaying the beauty of cultures around the world, IGVP is a great initiative.

Yep, this one works well mate and congrads on your being selected as a visionary!
Thank you buddy!
Go you Visionary! Look forward to the books. I might get to see them in person some day perhaps?
Thanks C 🙂 You will definitely see them in person, if the books get here before me I’ll send you a copy. Wait that made little sense, I meant I’ll bring them myself or send a copy if the books are ready before I am.
I remember these kids. Like the treatment Flembot!
Ta dude!
Classic image of kids love it and the stark background brings them to life
Cool, cheers Adrian.

Indeed, the good Polaris is proving to be an excellent home for creativity and productivity – love it 🙂 Might take it back with me to Denmark 🙂
great to hear its all coming together for you Flembot! 😀
look forward to the books- i’ll only get them if they’re signed and hand delivered by the one and only traveling nomad though haha 🙂
You are being a demanding customer Stephen! Yes I will sign and hand deliver but the price tag might need to include a plane ticket across the world 🙂
