First, huge congratulations to Saveus on the release of this album! The release was delayed for years by the corona lockdowns, and it must be wonderful to finally have it released and be able to play it live (check out my photo essay from Saveus at Roskilde Festival).
In august 2021 I shot stills for Saveus during a massive music video production by Impuls Film, and one of the stills ended up being the vinyl cover for the Saveus – Rainman album, released on 2 sep 2022. I just received the vinyl, and I love it, a completely clean and gorgeous design, the entire cover is just pure photo, nothing else:
This was an incredible team effort, and my job as a still photographer on this gorgeous set was literally to click the shutter-button and try not to screw it up! With Idea by Ole Nørup & Danni Riddertoft, and lights and set production build by Impuls Film it all looked outstanding, so I am just trying to pick great moments during the music video recordings to document (and trying not to screw it up!). I’m very proud to have played a small part in this project. As a still photographer, there is just nothing like seeing your work in physical form, posters, books, vinyl covers etc, and I am super proud to have a live documentary picture I made on the cover of this wonderful Saveus vinyl release.
